If Bynum's knee doesn't get better before game 5, the Lakers are in trouble. Lamar Odom has done nothing in this series. And in the 4th quarter, when you have both Odom and Artest out there, the scoring is then limited to Kobe, Gasol, and Fisher. Not good. When Bynum is on the floor, the Lakers are a much better team in this series.
I think I would almost consider not playing Bynum at all till the 4th if I was Phil. He has controlled the inside when in the game.
This series will be over if the Lakers continue to let Boston's bench have the production they did last night, especially in the fourth quarter.
Saw Ice Cube on ESPN First Take yesterday morning commenting on the bad officiating in the finals. His take was that the referrees were trying to stretch the series. Don't know if I agree with that, but after watching last night's game, I will agree about the horrible officiating, both ways.
One reason the bench had the production they did, especially in the 4th quarter, was because Bynum could not play and thus Odom was left to guard Davis. Davis doesn't have his way in the 4th quarter if Bynum is in.Quote:

Should be a good game 7. I dont think anyone saw last night coming. The Staples Center will be rocking on Thursday. And then the season will start again in what 3 weeks?
